CITROEN C3 pluriel

Join me here and experience my new CITREON C3 pluriel as I begin to use it for everyday transport (13th September 2003).

The CITREON C3 pluriel is an extraordinary and unique vehicle. A radical concept road car. Extremely adaptable, versatile and advanced, yet refined and with levels of safety and practicality previously unheard of. This recently introduced car has now met my demand for a stylish, economical and convenient daily transport machine.

I have now been driving the pluriel virtually since it's introduction in the UK and have come to rely on it's dependability and reliability. I find the roof extremely practical because it can be opened very wide whilst on the move (unlike many other convertible hoods).

      Did you know?

  • The New CITREON C3 pluriel was first sold in the UK on 2nd June 2003
  • It is built in CITROENs factory near Madrid in Villaverde, Spain
  • It shares not a single panel with the CITREON C3
  • It is the worlds safest supermini despite being an open vehicle design
  • When the car is completely morphed to spider guise it has no side window pillars or available roof at all
  • It's development cost $100 million dollars
  • 75,000 pluriels are to be built each year
  • The world debut of the pluriel was at the Paris Motor Show on September 13, 2002 but it was Originally unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1999 as a concept model
  • Up to 100kg can be carried on the lowered bootlid of a pluriel morphed into a pick up
  • It takes exactly 3 minutes to morph the car single handedly (no tools required), back to a fully closed hatchback / saloon
  • Monetry depreciation of a pluriel is expected to be low - 51% of the cars value could be retained in three years.
  • In an article 'The mean Machines of 2003', the Mail on Sunday Newspaper named the Pluriel as the 'most versatile car of the year'.

My first perceptions of the C3 pluriel; - In looks, the car has the front of a Ford Ka, the sides of a Peugeot 205, the rear quarters of a new Mini, the style of a Street Ka, but with four seats and the roof and rear of a 2CV!! What the hell is it?!

It drives like a gas BX, but has strut suspension and extremely light power steering, and scuttles along like an overgrown smart car with the ride height of a pick up truck. This is one really unusual car, with a dash like the starship enterprise and unprecedented equipment levels.

You forget about sporty looks when you can be as CUTE and CURVY as this!
